Contract Details: Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded a $24,272,627 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-07-G-0008). This order will provide engineering and technical support for management of the MV-22 and CV-22 Air Force variant flight control system and on-aircraft avionics software. This work will support configuration changes to the software of V-22 aircraft for avionics and flight controls, flight test planning and coordination of changed avionics and flight control configurations, upgrade planning of avionics and flight controls, including performance of qualification testing and integration testing on software products. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (90 percent), and Fort Worth, Texas (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2011. Contract funds in the amount of $5,171,886 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Contract Details: BAE Systems Information and Electronics, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $17,285,819 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0019) to exercise an option for the Low Rate Initial Production I of 600 Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System guidance sections for the Navy, including shipping and storage containers. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in November 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Contract Details: Kollmorgen Corp., Northampton, Mass., was awarded a $14,717,016 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-07-C-6227-P00017) for production of five Universal Modular Mast (UMM) systems for Navy submarines. The UMM provides for development and acquisition of a non-hull penetrating mast that serves as a lifting mechanism for five sensor configurations (the photonics mast, the multi-function mast, the integrated electronic mast, the high data rate mast and the photonics mast variant) on Virginia-class and SSGN submarines. Work will be performed in Bologna, Italy (80 percent), and Northampton, Mass. (20 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2013. The contract was not competitively procured. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
