Contract Details: Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, Va., is being awarded an $11,852,868 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-01-C-2104) to exercise an option for design agent, engineering and technical support, as well as test and evaluation efforts on current and future submarine platforms in support of program executive office for submarines. Work will be performed in Newport News and is to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
