Contract Details: TEAM Construction, LLC*, (a joint venture), Jacksonville, N.C., is being awarded a $7,050,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Multi-Purpose Machine Gun Range at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune. The work to be performed provides for the construction of 14 firing positions on a raised 10 position firing line and 180 Stationary Infantry Targets (SIT), and incidental related work, which includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a control tower, ammunition breakdown building, covered bleacher enclosure, vehicular holding areas, weapons calibration area, and target emplacements. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation to perform all of the services described in the plans and specifications. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, N.C., and is expected to be completed by July 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with six proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N40085-07-C-1913).
