Contract Details: SIGCOM, Inc. of Greensboro, North Carolina, is being awarded a $6,633,771 cost-plus-fixed-fee sole source contract to operate and maintain existing and planned video teleconferencing facilities in multiple Missile Defense Agency locations. The work will be performed at the Missile Defense Agency offices in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area; Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado; Huntsville, Alabama; Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; and Fort Greely, Alaska. The period of performance is from Nov. 2007 through Nov. 2008. Contract funds of $379,359 will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Missile Defense Agency, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity (HQ0006-08-C-0004). FY 07 research and development funds of $359,359 and FY 08 research and development funds of $776,000 will be used. The contract will be incrementally funded, and at award obligations will total $1,135,359.
