Contract Details: Northrop-Grumman Space Technology, One Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA 90278-1001, is being awarded a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract modification for the upgrade of the existing Space Tracking and Surveillance System ground and space vehicle software and ground hardware including the effort needed to test prototype algorithms. This effort supports the Ballistic Missile Defense System. The total not-to-exceed value of the contract modification is $29,000,000. The work will be performed in Redondo Beach, CA and is expected to be complete by September 2011. None of the funds will expire at the end of the fiscal year.
