Contract Details: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems, Inc., Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $25,472,769 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-priced contract (N00019-08-C-0061) to exercise an option for the procurement and integration of various CXP identification friend or foe hardware for the Navy, Army, and Air Force; and the governments of Canada, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. Hardware being procured includes common digital transponders, mounts, receivers and transmitters, signal processors, power supplies, battery packs, and Mode 5 modification kits. Work will be performed in Greenlawn, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in August 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $486,506 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Army ($17,209,826; 67.6 percent), Navy ($6,119,022; 24 percent), and Air Force ($202,220; 0.8 percent); and the governments of Taiwan ($999,211; 3.9 percent), Canada ($578,098; 2.3 percent), and Saudi Arabia ($364,392; 1.4 percent), under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
