Contract Details: Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $44,977,846 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-04-C-0101) to provide additional funding for the E-6B Block I modification program, including the design, development, installation, and testing of a fully integrated airborne command and control communication system. Work will be performed in Waco, Texas (80 percent) and Richardson, Texas (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
